With the storm this far out, ranges might be better choices - (I did pick a spot, btw)

None of the above. I'm thinking that Frances will make landfall between Myrtle Beach, SC and Carteret County, NC.

I think Frances will hit two places.First I think Frances will hit Miami as a Cat 5,and then hit a city along the Gulf Coast as a major hurricane.

Best guess now, maybe even a little -removed- for it to go way north of my latitude --

Savannah

There aren't really the right forces (that we see now) to grab and zoom it all the way north. There might be a weakness to move it away from South Florida, but there will be some high-pressure influence. Since we're not talking a trough to sweep it to the Carolinas or New England (yet), and the Florida coast fades slightly westward, I think the first land that snags it is as far north as Savannah.

But it wouldn't suprise me if it's between Daytona and Savannah.

If only a city in South Carolina or North Carolina was on there. I would probably be inclined to vote for Myrtle Beach.

ALL of the south east needs to watch this. But if you ask me I think NC and SC are out of the picture, right now I think this will be another FL storm.

That continued westward run has me convinced this things headed for South Beach.

If it goes through Miami or around Miami, then you have to open up a new poll....

WHO'S SECOND?
