GOES over 6hrs...

#1 Postby Stratosphere747 » Sun Aug 29, 2004 12:07 am

Again I ask help from the pros...

Looking at the GOES over the last six hours it seems that Frances has not gained any Lat...almost as if she is going west maybe a bit north of due west...Of course they have those damn square boxes and that may be what tends to throw me off...

IT's still going WNW...but it will be interesting to see what direction it is heading when we get out of the eclipse period.

Being the novice that I am AFM...What is fooling me into thinking that it is moving due west?? I can only assume it is the structure of the satellite/map...

Welp...the satellite's back. It's kind of hard to tell with only 1 frame since the eclipse, but it sure looks like it moved due west.

It appears to be moving West and slightly due north of west. Kinda like WWNW or whatever.
