#1 Postby southerngale » Sun Mar 30, 2003 11:15 pm

Last night, Beaumont, Tx. set a record low. 34° - wow!!! This is unheard of 2 days before APRIL!! We usually have close to summer temps by now.

Tonight looks promising for another record. We'll see.

I agree, it is odd for Nebraska to be warmer than portions of Texas. However, there are times just about every year that (northern) and central Florida are cooler than the Denver, Colorado area.

The official low on Sunday in Houston was 34ºf I believe. It was 33ºf at the closest AWS site and 37ºf here at the house. Today was 43º which is still 13º below normal. Turned into a GORGEOUS DAY THOUGH WITH A 74ºf high here at the house!!!
