. marine ... seas will increase over the eastern extreme of the
forecast area monday afternoon. seas will increase ... and should
reach as much as 10 feet over outer waters ... by tuesday. would
expect that the seas will have a relatively short period swell due
to the close proximity of hurricane frances and that relatively
dangerous conditions will exist in the northern atlantic waters for
the height of the waves to be experienced. some coastal flooding may
also be experienced on early tuesday on the northern shores of the
northern virgin islands and by mid morning or so in puerto rico...
again on the north side only. seas should return to normal by
wednesday night.

Yes Barbara let's hope that it keeps climbing to above 20n and then we will be more tranquil.

Well we have to wait for the trend to be establised tonight and tommorow and then the miles it will pass to our north will be more known.But being a big and strong hurricane even if the eye pases around 200 miles north of the islands rain in bands and gusty winds will be felt and of course the worse will be the very high seas a delight for the surfers.
