A bunch of 'ifs'....

#1 Postby LCfromFL » Sat Aug 28, 2004 1:06 pm

Here are a bunch of 'ifs'...

(1) IF Gaston has more of an effect on Frances than originally thought - then Frances would begin to slip more northward, right?

(2) IF Gaston moves North - and inland - then wouldn't a ridge fill in behind him?

(3) IF the ridge fills in behind Gaston - then wouldn't that cause the then-northward heading Frances turn back to the west?

(4) IF all of those played out - then isn't the potential threat area actually further north in FL/GA?

I see alot of people (on various boards) focusing on S FL and the Keys - while others keep talking about a turn to the Carolinas. I'm thinking that both may be wrong.

Any thoughts?
