HOW WILL BERMUDA LOW and gaston interact?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Sounds reasonable to me, but when I brought this sort steering pattern observations off the east coast, in the Caribbean Sea or the Gulf of Mexico/Bay of Campeche region... another scenario is mentioned and like expected the forecast calling for the "opposing steering flow" takes place.

This certainly doesn't mean I don't know my meteorology.

Well I'll tell you if Gaston moves southwest, it'll have a longer time to strengthen due to a larger amount of room relative to the warm water. But I still think Gaston could reach at least 60 mph b4 landfall and maybe 75 mph at the worst.
