0z models for Frances

They are really agreeing now right on the NHC track(except for the A98E)

Is it just me or are all the models starting to hint at a possible turn to the WNW or NW at the very end of the forecast period?

Yes tight clustered and that is a real consensus for the globals and tropicals.

notice how nhc98 was in caribbean and moving sw once it got in there last night, and where it is tonight, totally the opposite of what's going on.

The GDFL turns Frances out to sea while the UKMET aims it at South Carolina.

Turn Northwest

As I mentioned earlier today and the models are now starting to hint at it, Frances will not be a threat to Florida but from the Carolinas northward.

Westward turns cannot be ruled out after a NW movements.

Well, except the NHC (which pretty much splits the difference of all the other tracks) would take Frances right across the southern tip of Florida. (by this model, anyway, 7-8 days out).

I noticed the same thing with the NHC. All you can do right now is observe the numbers and watch any sudden movements.

I don't think it'll turn out to sea anymore. I think it's on a hard westward track atm.
