We need at least 6 frames to see if it is a wobble or a trend but here in Puerto Rico and the islands we are watching every move of that powerful hurricane

LOL I see alot of people being institutionalized after alll is set & done myself included..I for one am allready burning out & we still have a long way to go but its that time of year we have a beautiful cane out there & I'm goin nuts.
Having said that its not 7 days from you Ola,a wobble west that becomes a trend puts you in harms way sooner than later.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you on the islands! I don't know how you do it!

Not yet...that last image makes it look like that...but it is actually the dissipation of the inner eyewall...the center is still on a 290 or so.
The Dvorak shows this a little clearer...

A definite (very quick) turn back to 280-290, so much so that the eye wall got tilted from the upper structure. If this track continues tonight a hurricane watch will be needed by early morning Sat. for the islands.

If it stayed moving at 285..it would pass about 70 miles NE of the Islands...and about 120 miles NE of PR.

You are right I know, but any wobble or a reaction to the ridge building back in behind the trough could cause a wsw turn and I don't think the NHC would risk not placing the northern islands under at least a watch with that close a pass, would you?
