Satellite outage?

#1 Postby PurdueWx80 » Fri Aug 27, 2004 12:20 am

Does anyone know if we've entered the period of overnight satellite eclipses? There has been no new GOES data since 11:45 EDT. I remember someone mentioning this a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't remember the exact dates and times. Any thoughts?

The length of it peaks as you near the autumnal eq. Then it shortens. I'm not certain on the final date but it is probably mid-late October.
