look at last loop of vis and ir sat views, I see a distinct wnw movement taking place, possibly even nw as I write this post. Will have to watch to make sure this is not a wobble, but a trend.

Until Frances gets an eye you can expect some northwestward stair stepping. The next big trend to watch for IMHO is the timing of the turn to the west. This turn is forecast to be accompanied by an increase in forward speed. The track near the islands will be easier to nail down once this verifies.
