UPDATE: I've got light, but 2,500 still without

After 11 days of sweat and numerous ounces of cold water consumed.. I have got my lights back.

I actually got them back around 4:30pm yesterday. But people in my residential area are still without. I actually do feel sorry for them.

At a Kissimmee commission meeting last night, numerous KUA customers talked with the KUA president and the city of Kissimmee, may even consider switching to a different power company.

There are still 2,500 people in the dark and they may not be relit till Sunday.

That wouldn't change anything??? I am sure the Power Company did all they could. :roll: It could have been much worse, let them switch places with those that had a direct hit. Sorry but ungrateful people urk me.

Have to agree with Johnathon here,

OIn the hardest hit areas, it usually takes several months to get the electricity restored. 11 days, while inconvenient, is not the end of the world. Besides, for centuries people lived without electricity

Yes.. I'm happy to have mine back as well.. KUA is still the only power company in Central Florida where not everyone has had their power restored..
