It only takes 1 to make a season

For those of you that may be getting bored since we have had only 5 storms or if you have been getting frustrated because your area hasn't had a close call yet.. remember.. It only takes 1 storm to make a season.

Us Floridians have already had that 1. A Category 4 monster by the name of Charley.

Charley has wreaked a lot of havoc here and still has left some people in the dark and searching for answers.

Plus it is leaving some Floridians with a sense of uneasiness since there is still 3 full months left in the season.

So just remember.. Even if we somehow end the season with these 5 named storms.. Charley would be the "1" here in Central and SW Florida..

All it takes is 1..

In 1955 i had Two visit me in ONE Week. Connie and Diane. They weren't of Charley's strength, but those Hurricanes were nasty...:)

If i remember my moms words correctly Diane in 55 put water almost up to the roofs in downtown Belvidere NJ (a town along side the Delware) I remember seeing pictures and wish i had the book here to scan and send the pics... Not a good site and cant imagine what everyone in FL is going through.. I put up with Floyd here in eastern NC in 99 and that was horrific enough...

dont want to see another,,,,, Im ready to move north again....... way north...
