TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 PM EDT MON AUG 23 2004

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE REMNANT CIRCULATION OF DANIELLE IS CENTERED ABOUT 850 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES ISLANDS AND IS MOVING NORTH-NORTHWESTWARD
NEAR 10 MPH. THERE HAS BEEN LITTLE CHANGE IN THIS SYSTEM OVER THE
PAST SEVERAL HOURS BUT SOME REGENERATION IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT
DAY OR SO.

A LARGE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED A FEW HUNDRED MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE
CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS MOVING WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH. CONDITIONS
APPEAR TO BE FAVORABLE FOR SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT FEW
DAYS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
TUESDAY.
