I saw that too. It definitely looks better organized and it could be a threat to the Baja.

AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER CENTERED ABOUT 475 MILES SOUTH OF THE
SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA IS BECOMING BETTER ORGANIZED. THIS
SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO DEVELOP INTO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER
THE NEXT DAY OR SO AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD.

Did anyone notice how healthy looking the monsoon trough was along the ITCZ around 10ºN? Expect that to eventually translate east into the ATL basin in the next week or two ...
