TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1130 AM EDT SAT AUG 21 2004

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER HAS ISSUED THE LAST ADVISORY ON
TROPICAL DEPRESSION DANIELLE...LOCATED IN THE EASTERN ATLANTIC
ABOUT 855 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES ISLANDS. ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION ON THIS SYSTEM CAN BE FOUND IN HIGH SEAS FORECASTS
ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE...UNDER AWIPS HEADER
NFDHSFAT1 AND WMO HEADER FZNT01 KWBC.

SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE IN THE CENTRAL CARIBBEAN SEA HAVE
INCREASED SINCE YESTERDAY. TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT
EXPECTED BUT UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BECOME A LITTLE MORE
FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS THE SYSTEM
MOVES WESTWARD OVER THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN.

A TROPICAL WAVE BETWEEN THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS AND THE COAST OF
AFRICA SHOWS NO SIGNS OF TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION AT THIS TIME.
HOWEVER...THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT FEW
DAYS AS THE TROPICAL WAVE MOVES WESTWARD.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SUNDAY.

FORECASTER AVILA

We have plenty of time to see what the wave off africa will do.

Sort of thought this wave would eventually get its act together. This could well be Frances before the COA wave.
