Tropical Weather Outlook

Statement as of 10:30 PM EDT on August 17, 2004

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico...

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Danielle...located in the eastern Atlantic about 1120 miles
southwest of the Azores Islands.

Elsewhere...tropical storm formation is not expected through
Thursday.

Forecaster Franklin

Well a little quiet period before things pick up again as the peak of the season arrives very soon.
