What's this?! ............

Seems to be just south of where Earl was -- or is it another system? Thanks. I've been out of the loop, so am catching up on the tropics today.

That's the remnants of Earl. It will be inland later today.

If it gets to the Bay of Campeche we could see Earl form again.

Define "where Earl was" because I'm not sure everyone is responding about the same area.

The only other blobs on that image are the ITCZ east of the Windward Islands and a blob near the south coast of Panama(but on the EPAC side). Dixie is defintely referring to Earl. He's moved due west since he weakened.

Anyone notice the BOC today? Convection moving to the N. Small swirl.

True, but Dixie hasn't posted since Saturday and was trying to catch up today. Also, "where Earl was" was a lot further east (considering how fast he's moving).

I see. Dixie must be referring to the ITCZ blob east of the islands then(that's where Earl was). It's a little farther south as well. No development expected.

not so sure of the westward movement now, considerably slower than yesterday, and sort of a dip to the south with convection. Waiting for the ull to its west to get out of the way?
