damage here in the orlando Kissimmee area is alot worse than most people think. this storm is going to be about $20,000,000,000......

How bad is the Dr Phillips / Ocoee area? I have four family members in that area and have yet to hear anything from them. No one at any other site has answered me; so I'm getting a bit nervous here... :cry:

Not to bad in Ocoee but as you get closer to downtown orlando it gets pretty bad. Dr. Phillips fared pretty well too. My friend had is roof blown off just east of the airport they had gusts around 110 mph

until the phones and power gets back up completely it going to be hard to get a better picture on things

My daughter is about 2 miles west of UCF in eastern Orlando. They still don't have electricity. Authorities day it will be anywhere from an hour to two weeks before they do.

Here on a barrier island just below St. Pete there is no sign that a Cat 4 came so close to burying us under water. Nothing except the stillboarded-up houses.

Glad to hear that that area of Orlando seems to have made it out fairly well.

On a good note; I was able to reach my family's answering machine when I called this afternoon. So at least they have power and phone service. :) Now only to hear how they did...

An incredible storm for everyone involved! We still won't know the total extent for quite some time

Wonder how the wildlife fared?
