Wow Rain. Glad you're ok. I heard there was a rope tornado in the Virginia Beach area, as well as an f0 tornado near the Chesapeake City Airport and Currituck, NC as well. Any landfalling tropical system will fire up tornadoes on the northeast side of the circulation. Luckily it's all clear for the rest of the night there.

I got a wind gust near the shores of Virginia Beach up to 55 mph in squalls. Elizabeth City had a sustained wind of 46 mph with a gust to 64 mph. Wilmington, North Carolina gusted to 70 mph, which was the highest wind gust I saw that was actually recorded in the Mid Atlantic Region.
