Am I reading it right threatning the windward is. in a wk or so?

To far out on a semi-reliable model (that gets worse in the longer range) to be worried about.

It is interesting that the overall pattern seems to remain the same (i.e. positions of highs and troughs). You can use the AVN for long-range pattern forecasting, right?
