Generators to Florida

#1 Postby wolfray » Sat Aug 14, 2004 7:17 am

My business has secured about 175 generators. What I would like to know is what parts of Florida need them most. These would be for individuals, home use. Could anybody advise from the areas of damage? Thanks!

I hope he's providing them on loan, for free, or at reasonable cost? Otherwise, hmmmm....... Certainly, we here on the MS Coast have experienced folks trying to "capatilize" when we've been hit. It's too bad that I've learned to be skeptical after these storms hit, but price gouging and scams always surface at an alarmingly fast rate. Sometimes, people can continue to amaze 'ya, even in times of tragedy. I Don't mean to make any accusations, and I'm not pointing any fingers at the poster - or anyone else for that matter. I'm just hopeful these kinds of offers end up being truly genuine.

You can be sure these will be at very reasonable cost. NEVER would I try to take advantage of people after this kind loss and damage. I can not afford to give them but after going through many storms in the past; I know how much people will need generators. I just want to go to the area(s) where they will do the most good for storm victims.....Again; can anybody advise the area these units would help out most???

Hi Wolfray - I really am sorry to come across as the skeptic, and in fact, hate that my past experiences have led me there :x . But your offer is a wonderful thing and I believe a lot of folks down there will appreciate the opportunity to take advantage of it. Thanks!

The Punta Gorda area was ground zero so to speak. so that would be a good place to start.
