even the water off NJ is a nice warm 77 degrees... this thing could blow up again ...

Whether it strengthens or not, it's still a Hurricane! That's reason enough to take it very seriously.

We had a tornado at 7am this morning in morehead city and lots of rain... had an absolutely scary drive to work this morning in the middle of it all... many roads under water... you're right - anything is too much here in eastern NC.

77 degrees can't support a tropical system, actually. Anything passing over it weakens, even the Long Island Express did.
