Looks like Charley will be coming to my hometown.

I got some really strange looks today when I was the only one in the grocery store buying hurricane supplies. Just had a gut feeling about this one.

Derek,
My family is at 26.6N 80.3W. Wellington Fl. What are you saying? That Charley is going out by Palm Beach?

Hey Derek,

I know you're not a Bastardi fan, but that's what he was saying this morning (from Charleston north somewhere as Cat 1 or 2). TPC, in their latest advisory still has 30k Extratropical up there. Surely if you and Joe can see this, they should be seeing something too. I posted a thread about it before I saw yours. Btw, I wanted to personally thank you for putting out the information on the error of the 11:00 am advisory and disregard for the recon information. That may have been a lifesaver for someone. The only other thing I'd mention is that Joe has been all over 1960 analog the last few weeks with mentions of storms like Donna and how she ran up the east coast causing pretty major issues for several states.

Thanks again D.O.
