Over the Dry tortugas or i'm i smoking crack???? On this loop

click on the bottom right hand corner map ...you can cleary see some little specks...right under the eye...i'm not famaliar with this area so.....


to bad this wasn't updated every minute

According to WTPS...yes...it is crossing the Dry Tortugas.

967? That's 2-3 mb lower than the recon reports.

Yes, according to the 9am NHC advisory, it is coming over the Dry Tortugas.

unfortunately these buoys often go out of commission in tropical systems...Diamond Shoals went down and is still down from Alex.

That first link shows the best radar I've seen of the storm just west of the DT's... Great Post!!

Does it seem like the last few frames look as if it has a nne movement....did it start early.....maybe Ft Myers area for landfall?

oh boy, nhc may need to readjust to original track? Why is NHC the farthest west of any model?

I'd like to know that answer too.... Every model has pretty much shifted more eastward and the nhc is the most west..??????

Yeah...that's what I saw. NOt even close to 967. The eye wasn't that close 2 hours ago...and so the pressure would not have been 967.
