When about 3/4 of the eye is back over the Gulf of Mexico is my best guest! There is super hot water in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. This thing is going to go!

About 10 minutes or so ago the northern eye wall had orange colors. Looks like we got some red!

The red (deeper convection) is once again appearing on the northern eye wall. It had stopped for about an hour while it was over land. Should see significant strengthening within the next 6 hours. My prediction is we will have sustained winds of 120 two updates from now.

AS SOON AS eyewall and core (which i'd say is 40 miles in dia. not the eye the core-eye,ewall and area just outside this area) once this move offshore it should regain any rises in pressure...Id say 115 by 8am

One thing which MIGHT keep intensification from being explosive...is the outflow to the south of the system, which is quickly approaching. If the system doesn't move as quickly as forecast initally, it might impinge on its southern CDO, thus slowing intensification.

In ANY case, we should have a Cat. 3 hurricane today...
