No ...

The eye is elongating (no longer circular) and tilted SW-NE ... not a good sign for a developing storm (although, some good news for leveling off the strength and keeping that in check) ...

Furthermore, the eyewall is open W quadrant which also indicates that it's losing some steam and some weakening probably occurred (although, it just may be temporary)

No, but I won't talk out my butt about it.

'definetely some good news for Florida'

Oh really, yes. We can all relax now. Rainstorm thinks the storm is no doubt falling to pieces and will hit Texas.

I don't know about eyewall replacement cycles... so I'll wait for a professional to describe it (or not) as such.

General NW heading, and the eye has disappeared for a time. THe outflow is perfect, warm water, i think an eye wall replacement cycle could be the possible answer. especially with the huge cloud tops blowing up round the center in the last few visible shots...

Oh, I know what it means, I just don't know how to identify it based on all the data. Thanks for the link though. =) You'll also notice in one of the first lines on that link folks, these things only happen only with very intense hurricanes. This ain't one, till someone professional says then
