By looking at the eye, it seems to be taking a more northerly track. Any thoughts?

Sure looks that way. My prediction is for Charley to pass directly over Key West and then make landfall right near Naples. For Tampa's sake, I really hope it doesn't make it any further north. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those in Florida as some very tense times are ahead.

just remember that the radar loops are very short time frames. Charley is going to weeble and wobble and you won't be able to tell a true track change from the RADAR. :-) Stay safe everyone!!

yes but on visible its been heading this way since before noon.

I was just commenting about the radar loops. They can be very decieving :-)

Dolphin is right. The motion that we are trying to estimate needs to persist for a few hours before a definitive motion can be determined. Tropical systems wobble alot.
