I think NHC is waiting for

confirmation on with next model runs. I have seen them do this when there political factors involved. If they moved the forcast cone farther west then people in south fl would start to ignore the storm.

For the 11AM adv. the adjusted the official track slighty more SOUTH/EAST.

I think it's a good idea to wait on confirmation when dealing with a system like this that could impact such a large area.

Nobody is out of the woods until the NHC says that you are. I just believe there are political forcasts sometimes frm the NHC. However I do not mean to imply that is a bad thing.
