Would I ever want to go thru a Cat 4-5 cane?? I live in Angleton and have heard the horror stories about Carla.....For this to make landfall so far south and have this much impact this far north is quite enlightening....Sometimes we focus to much on the exact landfall point and those who "think" they are safe could be in even that much more danger....In case Charley or any upcoming system ever comes close to this powerful.....

Food for thought...

I thought about it and I never wanna think about it again. I can never forgive Andrew for what he did back in 1992. Lost my house and all.

Or Audrey in 1957. Although Hurricane Audrey came ashore in SW Louisiana near Cameron, hurricane force winds were felt as far east as Mobile!
