Yeah ... call it a cleansing of the system ...

Again, with such a large envelope of Charley, I didn't expect this thing to immediately take off, BUT once it slowly does, things will begin to snowball, and possibly quite rapidly when things come together ... that's a BIG concern ...


Um, just got back from a friend's house, and OMG ... what a burst of convection from Charley

After the conflicting signals this afternoon, we now conclusively have a very strong tropical storm that is nearing hurricane intensity, based upon the recon data
