Whoa, whoa, whoa. All of those observations are at flight level. #1 and #2 are at 18,500ft and #3 is at 4,700ft. Additionally, obs #2 and #3 are NOT east winds (99°). 99 is encoded for variable winds.

Care to decipher what this means for those of us who are not as tropically inclined? :)

Nothing to report that is too exciting. Recon found Bonnie slightly weaker than she was earlier.

That's kind of what I gathered but I wanted to make sure I was right. Thanks for the pro interpretation. :)

After all I have some roots in the Orlando area so I have to watch this closely.

30 knot winds in the NW quad is not that bad... but Bonnie looks like hell on the IR pictures. small and all the convection is only on a 45 degree sector of the southern portion of the LLC

I crap bigger than that....

I would not say it to be that weak because it has a eye!

13 minutes north, 49 minutes west directionality. Wow, this system is shunting off to the west more than predicted. Wonder if that will have any track implications, or whether the orientation of the trough means that eventually it ends up in the same point anyway.

Supplementary vortex data message finds winds of 37 knots in the SE quad. The most recent earlier pass found winds of 53 knots in this same quad. So the system has definitely waned a bit, perhaps due to the tick down of deep convection.
