I'm having crow tonight

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I'm having crow tonight

#1 Postby Brent » Mon Aug 09, 2004 1:34 pm

I blew TD 3 as well. I didn't think it had a chance til it reached the Western Caribbean. The way this season is going, all I am going to eat is crow. Just yesterday I remarked about how slow this week was shaping up to be. NOT ANYMORE!

I'm not complaining though, just mad my prediction blew again.

Alex
TD 2
TD 3

Is anything going to go right? I'm afraid to predict that TD 3 will be big since I've busted so far.

Yep. :)

Just this morning TWC remarked about how only 1 named storm had formed and 2 was the average. Looks like we'll be up to average by tomorrow with TD 3 and possibly above average if ex TD 2 regenerates and becomes a tropical storm. 8-)

Also the EPAC has reached its statistical peak this month...The Atlantic statistical peak is Sept 10th!

Yep... one month til the peak here, with a secondary peak in Early October.

I've noticed the EPAC has been unusually quiet this year. Still is quiet right now.
