Let's see...... I'm sure another front will pick that system up before it comes anywhere near us. But you never know.

Bad weather avoids me. I was in New York on my honeymoon when Claudette looked like it was heading into Houston last year... we landed at the airport just in time to discover that it had turned *LOL* 13 years in Houston and one (admittedly horrible) tropical storm.

TD3 won't hit Houston*Laughs* Just like ExTD2 wouldn't touch Houston.... just like thunderstorms avoid me... just like bad weather in general is never where I am.

And I'll eat my crow if either one does *Laughs*

LOL, you too!!!! I was in the military stationed in Southern Japan. Everytime they'd predict a near direct hit the storm would always mangage to turn at the last minute. We couldn't even get rain from the typhoons. I guess bad weather avoids me too. So Houston consider me your good luck charm when it comes to Hurricanes. :D

Well, I must be a weather magnet -- Allison, Claudette, Fay, Georges (outer bands), the Super Outbreak, and an earthquake in KY.

LOL..... where were you for Hurricane Jerry? If memory serves me correct Galveston got pounded while we only experienced gusty winds and sunny skies here in Houston. It's amazing to see how just 40 miles can make a big difference.

I Know I'm going to take a lot of heat for this. But let me go on record right now. I want a strong category 2 cane (no stronger or weaker) to come barging right up hwy 288 or I45. :hehe:

Just as long as it doesn't get caught in traffic at 610 and stop at my house.... I really do live within sight of a bayou... and although I'm on the second floor of an apartment complex (and therefore less likely to have flood damage) I'd really rather not go through the neighborhood underwater. And I have no idea how we'd board up the windows.

*laughs* So you keep wishing and I'll just sit tight here until hurricane season is over and between my weather karma andyour wishing... we'll cancel eachother out :P
