12Z GFS develops Carib system and takes it into Gulf
The 12Z GFS is latching on to the Caribbean system and keeps a closed low for most of its run. The track leads into the N-central GOM in a week or so. So I guess we should really watch this closely- although more run to run consistency will help build that argument. We shall see.

Here's a loop from my site
I know NCEP now does loops- but they load slow and go out WAY too far IMO. Here is a loop from my site that shows only the first 180 hours- and it should load much faster. I hope.

It clearly shows 93L moving into the GOM and then into/near MS area. Interesting times ahead.
