Just watched the weekly outlook and nothing was mentioned about a tropical cyclone anywhere. Are the picking up on something we're not? Or is it to early for them to mention it. Usually they will post TROPICAL SYSTEM in the area where there might be some action. Just thought it was a little strange.

Not surprised at all.
Remember you are talking about the
TWC. The ONLY and I mean ONLY thing they are good
for is satellite and radar images. :lol:

Steve Lyons will be on this PM and get them ontrack with these systems. I realt think they need 2 Trop. forecasters on duty like when Hope and Lyons worked together.

I agree. They were a good team and for this time of the year, you can't have just one person reporting during the evening. The other mets will only be going by what the NHC says and would rarely speculate. Dr. Steve Lyons WILL state his personal opinion.

cantore can be a good forecaster, he's been in enough of them, and has alot of experiece there.

I agree rbaker - he gets EXCITED by them and tries to explain what is going on. another one that's like that is David Schwartz.

Lindaloo - I see P. Allen Smith everyday as well. Good information, but just more filler for TWC.
