NHC needs to put the floaters on something that has a chance to develop like ex TD 2 and Invest 93L. :grr:

They really should. If not 93L, then definetly on ex TD 2. It should be done by tomorrow, a weekday.

They should move it regardless of what day it is. Ex TD 2 is near land for crying out loud.

Chill y'all. The request went in early this evening. It should be refocused in the morning. There is simply no one available to move the floaters over the weekend -- so I've been told by those in charge.

Could someone explain the preocces of moving a floater? Shouldnt it just be as easy as zooming into an area? Or is it another sat?

The problem is the weather forecasters are working 24/7, but the computer guys running the floaters and whatnot have evenings and weekends off. I know this from experience.
