NW Carib--Current Movement?

OK..so we might have a system that won't go "poof"...any idea which direction it is currently moving...It looks to me like it's moving much closer to west than northwest...

Probably west...but, with the approaching front is should stall and then turn N to NE. Question is--How far West will it get before the front picks it up? Will it strike Louisiana later this week or will it go further east towards Florida. This is what we are going to have to watch.

I think the further west it moves, it increases the possibility of a FL landfall.

IMO it looks like the tops are being blown forward
and to the west... kind of like a backwards shear..
ie... top it moving WNW and mid and lower are
moving NW...

You are probably right there Camille but that shear should end for the most part by tomorrow morning.It seems to be slacking off some already.
