well well, I may need some crow

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I very well may need to have my share of some crow if TD 2 redevelops. I still believe that the wave east of the islands is ultimately the one to watch once it gets to the w carib.

As for the GOM, it still appears to be somewhat disorganized and there may be hints of an outflow boundary on the north side of the convection. However, if a closed low does form, chances are it will be classified since it is in the gom. Residents of the GOM should monitor the system over the next few days, just to make sure there are not any surprises

don't worry about it Derek, no one can 100 pct predit what systems will do, esp this one, where I think there were a couple showers left with it yesterday am.

Absolutely right! :)

Please understand, no offense at all... Derek, but I figured you would always give the remnats of Tropical Depression #2
potential for redevelopment, especially after the fairly high percentage of development the afternoon it was downgraded.

So Derek, you think the low off the mouth of the river should get upgraded? Don't think it qualifies currently.....MGC

I dont think it should, doesnt even have much convection with it. Plus, its basically on the coast.

I am "more shocked" (not really, hence the use of th word "more" and using quotes... this system had potential; after all it was a tropical depression) that it was played down by more people after we all heard that redevelopment was fairly certain.

near the cuban coast, not the us coast. Anything near the us coast will be off the east coast with the front
