Looks like it's getting its act together again. Judging from the flow ahead of it, it looks to me like Northern Mexico or South Texas is the best bet. You never can tell how things will play out though. With those troughs digging south like it's an early Christmas, it could end up anywhere. I was reading on the Mobile AFS that another cold front is due around Thursday, with more unseasonably cool (well, not as hot) weather for next weekend.

With another cold front coming down/trough moving southward the steering flow will become SE-NW/W-E.....

Steve H. wrote:It very well could, but the models show another shortwave rounding the trough with the ridge breaking down. SO it could head NNE, as well as WNW

I believe, if you do not have a degree in meterology (meterologist) your a wishcaster. So everyone wish away.

See, I'm not the only one. I see the reasoning behind a system moving a certain way... obviously can't
disagree with why it isn't the cast many times and then we actually the ultimate movement of a system.

I really would like to know Derek and Derecho's opinion on what I say.

I thought -removed- was forecasting a storm in the direction you want it to go? Maybe I am wrong, but i definately dont want the thing (whatever it may become) to come to Texas.

Well, as I mentioned in the last week or two, wishcaster has a negative connotation for me, if not all of us like it truly sounds.

There is a fine line between wanting to experience weather no matter how wet or dry we have been in recent days and the
thorough understanding that a tropical cyclone at any intensity will effect or come close enough to feel the effect of the storm.
