Tropical Atlantic evening disco. Could the GOM heat up?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Pressures a little low as well.

1.) Repectfully, no. At least not the type due to any kind of closed circulation.

2.) I think pressures should be lowering with the approach and presence of thunderstorms and subsequent frontal passage. They'll probably start going up once the front passes.

It sure has been some time since barometric pressure readings were this low across Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. I believe the last time was with the last typical cold front moved through the region maybe as recent as March or April.

I've posted it in another thread and I'll say it again here. The weather folks at Eglin say it's possible to see a weak tropical storm here (Florida panhandle) on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I'm supposed to go to Vegas Monday, but if this looks like even a remote possibility, I'm not going. Dont want to get stuck in the Atlanta airport.....again!!
