0Z GFS Guidance

#1 Postby MWatkins » Thu Aug 05, 2004 12:15 am

Getting ready for bed..but hard to ignore the GFS guidance tonight as it applies to former TD2.

The GFS is starting to latch on to the system and redevelop it...in 48 hours it has a closed 850MB vort max approaching Jamacia:

By Day 3 over Cuba:

and by 96 hours approaching SFL:

Albeit weaking after 72 hours.

No new bursts of convection are going up right now so it's once again wait and see...but I though the entertainment value of the 0Z GFS was worth it's own post.
