I herd him say earlier tonight that the area that came off the african coast today is a broad low pressure area and that it "may improve conditions ahead of the next wave to come off." So who knows.. maybe I was wrong earlier today when I said 2 weeks... I have noticed with Steve he has a tendency to repeat what comes out of Miami... So we may be seeing what could be the first of many coming off africa tomorrow....

Nothing came off the African coast today. A huge convectionless gyre came off the coast two days ago......and the next wave isn't coming off for about another 30 hours or so.
