Convection in Mid Atlantic

#1 Postby FlSteel » Sun Jul 25, 2004 4:32 am

Have noticed that the convection with the wave at around 40W and 8 N has held together overnight. The convection seems to be quite persistent. What chances does this have of developing or become an invest anytime soon as it moves closer to the east Caribbean. I know it's a little south but once again the convection is persistent. Any opinions on this would be appreciated. I'm new to weather watching and I'm trying to learn all I can. Thanks. 8-)

Yep, I noticed the same thing. Besides this thread, you can find opinions on this under the subject: "Blob around 8N 38W pretty persistent".
