We have decided to go on the 16th of october to Denver Colorado, where we will be picking up our RV (we got a really great one way deal!) then from there its off to Rocky mountain national park, flaming gorge utah, Grand teton and yellowstone in Wyoming. Then we are going to drive across Idaho (maybe stop at a few places along the way, but we have nothing set in stone for that area) Then we are going across to hells Canyon in Oregon, and all my hubby's haunts in Oregon (Mt. Batchelor, Sisters and to visit some friends in Bend) We will be doing some trout fly fishing at Devils lake and the cascade lake area. Then we will be spending some time at Crater lake (my hope of seeing some snow just might happen there, I read they get something like over 500 inches of snow!) From there we will be going to Lake Tahoe in California and on to San Francisco. From there we fly back to Orlando.
It has been so long since we went on vacation, I feel like a kid and am so excited! What would make it perfect is if I could experiance a real snow storm!! But hey it will be october, and the storm is only allowed to occur when we are not driving!! Im not being fussy now am I.
