We mostly use wire coathangers. Because they can open locked doors and stuff. And there bendable which is really cool.

Darn it! I tried to post a pic of Joan Crawford screaming, "No wire hangers!" but it only showed up as a red X.

In the words of Joan Crawford: "WIRE COAT HANGERS, NEVER!!" :grr:

But on the serious side...my family uses both plastic and wire. :)

LOL at the Joan Crawford references......her poor kids though.

I prefer plastic now since we drip dry over 50% of our clothes. Nina's tall so she hates when her jeans shrink or tops get too tight. And will my kids buy a size up, oh no, they'd never consider shrinkage...LOL I always tell Nina she's in trouble at college, she'll have to use laundry mat washers/dryers, no place to drip dry all her clothes. That commercial with the clothes drip drying all over the house? Well, that pretty much is the scene in my kitchen and laundry room - I hang shirts on the china cabinet there, since it has a large overhang on top. You can't drip dry with wire hangers - they leave marks/stains!

I prefer the plastic ones myself. But the wires have come in handy. For instance, picking locks when your little one decides to lock himself in a room, lol.
