New wave introduced

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu Jul 22, 2004 7:12 pm

This wave was introduced between the wave in front that I haved posting about and in front of the wave Aquawind posted about. So in other words there are now three waves to watch as the CV season gets closer.

This is the 8:05 PM Discussion:

TROPICAL WAVE INTRODUCED ALONG 34W IN THE CENTRAL ATLC S OF 17N
MOVING W 10-15 KT. LONG-TERM SATELLITE LOOPS SUGGEST A
MID-LEVEL CIRCULATION PLUS TSTM COMPLEX MOVED OFF THE COAST OF W
AFRICA EARLY ON THE 19TH AND HAS GOOD CONTINUITY WITH CURRENT
CONVECTION ALONG THE ITCZ. IN ADDITION... THE WAVE SHOWS UP AS
A WEAK CYCLONIC SPIN CENTER ON THE GFS MODEL WHICH AMPLIFIES THE
WAVE SLIGHTLY AS IT APPROACHES THE LESSER ANTILLES LATE WED INTO
THU. ISOLATED SHOWERS FROM 9N-12N BETWEEN 33W-37W.

Anything hugging the 10N line has SSTs to pop..Just need to keep the speed reasonable so they can stack and stay stacked..
