John Kerry should be showing up to vote. That's his job. What if some of the other senators decided their votes were inconsequential and many of them didn't show up?

If those Sens were the Presidential nominee, I would look more favorably upon it.

Which brings us back to Brent's original comment...he should have resigned from the Senate if he doesn't have time to be a Senator.

I disagree. Voting is just one aspect. He can campaign and do his job, just like Bush can campaign and do his.

But he's not doing both. He's missed almost 90% of the votes THIS YEAR so far. If he COULD do both, I would applaud him, but since he can't, he should resign.

You are an intelligent, young poster, but you are starting to buy into the Boortz/Limbaugh rhetoric a bit too much IMO.

You are placing too much importance on voting, in instances when his vote is inconsequential, and you are focusing too much on a red herring issue, IMO.

Bush has chosen this as a big attack issue, but given the amount of time he has spent absent from his duties, I think it could backfire.

Gosh, what would happen to John Kerry if his supporters decided to act like him -- figuring the decision has been made without his vote? What if they didn't vote?

:)

I wouldn't complain. :)

Spin on a joke???

Is everything about me Jen??...LOL

People can disagree...It is actually quite natural.

Sorry I do not buy into the Boortz/Limbaugh talking points on 100% of the issues like some of the members here.

Not trying to single you out. :) We just seem to disagree on everything, lol. Hmm, maybe we can agree on something. We both want what's best for this country, right? We just have a different opinion as to what the best is. Still friends? :)
