I have a problem

#1 Postby W13 » Mon Jul 19, 2004 2:53 pm

When I post in a topic, and then go and post in something else and go back to the main forum index (say the Games Forum), it says that someone else has posted after me, but when I go and check it, it still has my original post and no new posts.

I am puzzled as to why this is occuring, and am wondering if there is any solution to my problem?

Thank you in advance for your help. 8-)

w13.. Are you sure your not just looking at the views.. There are two numbers.. One for replies and one that just says how many have "viewed" your thread

Nope, that isn't the case. Say I go and post in a topic, and then go out of that one and post in a different one. When I go back to all of the topics again, usually someone has posted in the topic that I posted in originally and it will have their username displayed as the last person to have posted in that particular topic. Sorry if that is confusing, but I don't really know how to explain it any better.

Chad I have seen this occasionally. It seems almost as if the database is trying to catch up sometimes. My posts usually do appear quickly though.
