Man, what a weird dream!!

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Fri Jul 16, 2004 1:08 pm

Last night, early this morning, I was dreaming that we had some destructive weather in my area!! Here's how it goes...

After my mom left for work, I fell back asleep hoping I wouldn't find any surprises by the kittens. Then I was looking out the window just seeing a typical thunderstorm. A minute later the wind was blowing harder and harder. After that, I saw darker clouds rolling inand I saw a huge tidal wave. I was thinking "Holy crap! I hope my family & friends are OK.!" I was running around the apartment not knowing what to do but to seal off the window & doors. As the waves came crashing down like the scenes from 'The Day After Tommorow', I finally realized "Waves in North Texas? Wait a minute I'm..." then I woke up and everything seems normal. I finished the statement "...dreaming."

I remember 7 years ago, I was dreaming that I saw a big F5 tornado from my front door, and it was heading south. Glad that those situations didn't actually happen here.

That's wild!! I used to have tidal waves dreams alot years ago, but I haven't had one in a long time! Very scary!

Tidal wave dream definition - Overcoming you: Your emotions are about to become out of control regarding circumstances in life. Dodging it: You are maintaining emotional control while facing your stressful situation.

had a dream last night that we were driving down some highway and we ran into a cloud of pollution and it was multicolor! The windows were down and we inhaled the pollution and our voices became highpitched like it was helium. It was weird....then everything started to spin. Then i woke up.....( sounds like a stoner dream  )

LOL, Matthew - that was like a Cheech & Chong
dream!

Hey, Stooge, I've had many dreams where HUGE
tornadoes were coming at my house - you know,
the ones where you're concerned and
yelling, and, everyone else is rather nonchalant,
and, just looking at you like you're nuts...? LOL,
I hate those...

George had a weird dream last night that he bought a whole bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken and someone took it and he didn't even get one piece. Then he said we were at a gig and someone stole his China cymbal.

Your dream may be about something yet to happen.

I believe that the feelings of Deja Vu many of us experience can be explained by the fact that we previously dreamt about the incident. The dream may not exactly portray what is to come; just close enough to be recognisable when the event actually occurs.

Just a thought.

Yeah, those can drive any person crazy! It's like worrying about a test you're gonna take the next day, and all of a sudden, you're dreaming that you're trying to get to your study book and you're running in slow motion still in one place.
