Two dead doves? That is sad! We had our rain here with all the severe weather south and east of us... just an occasional rumble of thunder earlier. Looks like an evening of French Language homework and a review of my economics chapters before a quiz tomorrow.

I hope y'all don't mind, but I brought over my bright orange chimenea... it doubles as a porch heater and an oven :) I figure we can watch the sunset from our cushy hammock swing chairs and still be able to toast Marshmallows... mmmmm...

Things have been warming up nicely during the days... but we're still below freezing at night... if I ever get my hands on a digital camera, I'll keep folks posted on the slowly diminishing pile of ice blocks that was a grand castle in early February. It's still there... and probably will be for another month until spring kicks into second gear...

Well... I'm off to take a stroll before it rains... I'll catch y'all later... :)

Hey Houma...Excelsior Springs is a nice place!

I just don't grasp economics. It has been a struggle for me all semester. I am trying to remain positive. We will see how I do soon.

Beautiful day here from what I could see through my pollen green tinted eyeglasses. My flower beds are alive with color and the trees and bushes a vivid green against the bright blue sky. High of 69.

Guess I'll pay for this beautiful day with stormy weather tonight.

77° on my front porch

#33 Postby Constructionwx » Tue Mar 25, 2003 8:30 pm

77° on my front porch today ! Had to break down and mow the grass for the first time this year. Had a blast. I think it's spring smell thing.

Also starting to see some leaves in the tree tops. :D

I am going to have to bring in the brass monkeys off the porch for the next couple of nights.

It is going to get cold. Listen to this:

Thunderstorms Thursday during the day, then snow Thursday night!!

Wow - 76° and sunny, here, today! Thunderstorms could
move in, overnight. Those hyacinths and daffodils are sure
pretty. Great view from the Porch.

Thanks, Amanzi for the pie, and, thanks to Jacki for the
cookies! We sure do have good cooks around here! :ggreen:

Ya'll have a great night!

It felt almost summer-like today here, topping out at a balmy 79°.

Almost time for Braves baseball on TBS; and definitely time for pollen ("sneeze, wheeze"!), and mowing the lawn.

We forgot about Spring again this year. We've gone from having the heat on straight to running the air conditioning. Here goes the electric bill again! Oh well, at least it's time to get the boat out! :D

I mowed over the weekend as well for the first time. Well... I took my quiz. 70%...like my sister said... good enough. I take this class online. I take the unit test on Thursday.

I may be back on later this evening after I tackle my French homework, but if not "Bon soir!" and for you English speakers, "Good night!" ;)
